On the optical side, we offer a wide variety of prescription eyeglasses, lenses and frames to suit your specific needs.
Our Silicon Valley optometry team will discuss the various options with you to determine which type of frame will best fit your needs and lifestyle.
We carry a full selection of designer eyewear from brands you love, including, but not limited to:
When you come for a new set of eyewear, we will first test your vision. Silicon Valley Eye Physicians offers comprehensive vision testing to ensure that your eyes are healthy and that your prescription is accurate. Even if you already have a pair of corrective lenses, we like to test for potential changes in your prescription.
Our standard exams test for visual acuity using a Snellen eye test, phoropter and various other instruments. Once we’ve determined your condition and its severity, we’ll examine your overall eye health and check for other complications such as glaucoma. We’ll also test your depth perception, responsiveness to light, color perception and peripheral vision.
Whether you want to wander around our showroom floor and try on glasses for yourself, or recieve help from one of our friendly staff, we try to make your glasses shopping experience enjoyable and productive.
When choosing the right eyewear, we encourage you to consider the following factors:
Lens size. Modern lenses come in a range of sizes, from small lenses to large. If you’re used to wearing frames with large lenses and are thinking about making the switch to glasses with small lenses, we encourage you to spend some extra time trying out the glasses with small lenses in our shop, before you make the purchase. This will help ensure that you can be happy wearing them.
Color. One of the ways that you can help ensure you’re happy with your frames is to pick a color that suits your style.
Are you thinking about purchasing new glasses? For your convenience, we have two optical store locations to serve you. Contact Silicon Valley Eye Physicians and stop by our Sunnyvale or Santa Clara Office to set up your appointment.
